Alma E. Beck, 102, of Westminster Village, Allentown, died Wednesday,
Feb. 4, 2009, in her home.  Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of
the late Charles Henry and Eleanor (Mauser) Beck.

A graduate of St. Lukes Hospital School of Nursing, she was the Assistant
Director of Nursing at the nursing school for many years before retiring.
She was the oldest member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem,
where she had been a member of the womens organization and played the
piano in Sunday school for many years.

Survivors: Nephew, David Nuss of Bethlehem; great and great-great nieces
and nephews.  She was predeceased by sisters, Marion Beck and Esther Nuss,
and a brother, Charles A. Beck.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden
St., Bethlehem.  Family and friends may call 1-1:30 p.m. Monday.
