Ennis, 81, of 24 Grayson View Court Selinsgrove, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010, in Danville at the home of her daughter. She was born July 16, 1928, in Towanda, the daughter of the late Mildred Robbins Stull and the late Leroy Robbins. She graduated from Towanda High School, Towanda. She was a devoted wife and homemaker for most of her life, devoting her time and heart in raising her five children. Mrs. Ennis worked for 17 years at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock as a ward clerk and in the pharmacy, which she enjoyed thoroughly and talked about often, retiring in 1988. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leo E. Ennis. They were married October 19, 1946 in Anniston, Ala. Also surviving are three sons: Leo E. Ennis, M.D., of Ruxton, Md.; J. Robin Ennis of St. Cloud, Fla., and Jeremy E. Ennis of Naples, Fla.; and two daughters; Conaley J. Visneski of Danville, and Angeline M. Smith of Oklahoma City, Okla. Also surviving is her sister, JoAnn R. Burke of Towanda. She is also survived by nine grandchildren. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Geisinger Hospice, 109 Woodbine Lane, Danville, PA 17821.
