The Morning Call Allentown, PA 24 Jul 2009 Gregory A. Beck, of Chesterfield, Mo., and formerly of Perkasie, Pa., died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, of injuries sustained when struck by a car while running near his family home. He was 52. He was the husband of 27 years of Marianne C. (Cassidy) Beck. Born in West Rockhill Twp., he was the son of Stanley and Cleora Blondie (Stauffer ) Beck, of Perkasie. Greg was the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President, and Partner for Clayco, an Overland-based development and construction firm operating in 25 States. He was a 1974 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, where he was President of the National Honor Society. Active with various sports while at Pennridge, he was the recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award. He went on to attain his Masters Degree at Lehigh University. Greg had many friends in the Pennridge Area, and wherever he went, he was loved by many. He enjoyed tennis, running, and hiking, but the love of his life was his family. An organ donor, 25 or more people will benefit from his gift of life. Survivors: Wife and parents and his children; David, Emily and Steven; his brother, Glenn Beck and his wife Wendy; his sister, Sharyn MacLaughlin and her husband F. Scott; and nieces and nephews.
