I've just returned to my research after dealing with herniated disks & pinched nerve roots in my neck (had 3 procedures done - RELIEF!!) - I'm still trying to find Aaron's Father. Fayette County, PA, Genealogical & Personal History says: "The Robbins family of Fayette county is traced to about the years 1790, when Aaron, James and John Robbins, young men, bricklayers and stonemasons by trade, cam from New Jersey to Connellsville....... Aaron Robbins was twice married; his second wife being Laidessa Huntley. By first wife hed had sons, John and Stephen......." I've been able to go forward from Aaron, James & John (mostly Aaron's line) but I have not been able to find a father for Aaron. I've been told that a male relative has been tested (DNA) & is a descdendant of Danile & Hop (Potter) Robins(on). Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you. You & Brian Robbins come from the same line. Your information is correct ,DNA testing does show this is a Daniel Robins line. Possibly Brian who knows this line very well or someone else can help out here with more information. It appears the Connellsville Robbins line connects to the line of Aaron Robins, Sr. through his son Ephraim. As you say many were stone mason & bricklayers by trade. Nice to have you back. Sara
