Born Nov. 23, 1936, in Dry Hill, Pa., he was the son of the late Franklin Robbins and Rowena Klingensmith Robins Hennessey. He retired after 20 years as a service writer for GMC Truck Center in Landover. He also retired after serving for 20 years in the U. S. Air Force. He enjoyed playing golf and worked at Henson Creek golf course in Prince George's County. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dwain Robbins. He is survived by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Betty Robbins, whom he married on Sept. 15, 1956. He is also survived by his daughter, Rowena Rohls of Waldorf; his brother Ronald Robbins of Northfield, Ohio; his stepbrother, Dwain Hennessey of Abilene, Texas; three grandchildren. Dawn, Melissa and Sara Call; and six great-grandchildren, Yasmine Jenkins, Brianna and Serenity McMillon, Taya Call, Brian Adams and Willow Fort.
