To all whom it may concern whereas Daniel Robins deceased late of Fayette County, state of Pennsylvania by his last will did bequeath unto me Mercy his widow a certain mill situate on Georges Creek with fifty acres of land adjoining the same. Being part of a tract of land five hundred and fifty acres granted by warrants to said Daniel to enjoy the same during my lifetime; know ye by this presents that I the said Mercy for and in consideration for the sum of two hundred pounds Pennsylvania currency to me in hand paid by John Robins of said Fayette County before the signing hereof; the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold & released & hereby grant bargain sell and release unto him the said John Robins all my claim and said title to said tract and mill situate in said Fayette County & as hereabove described to have and to hold said premises with all the rights appurtenances privileges of improvements to the same belong unto him the said John Robins his heirs, assigns to their only use & to their administrators executors heirs or assigns to their only use & behoof during my lifetime warranting said premises against only person or persons claiming the same from under me. In witness hereof I have set my hand & affixed my seal this twenty third day of April in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight. I John Swearingen of the county of Westmoreland and the state of Pennsylvania do send greeting whereas I held by improvement a tract of land on Georges Creek adjoining James Borden and Daniel Robins in the county aforesaid. Kowye that for the consideration of five shillings to me in hand paid by the said Daniel Robins the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge & for other good causes me thereunto moving have granted and sold unto the said Daniel Robins all my estate right and title to the same together with the improvements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or of right of witness & by the lands of the said Daniel Robins on the other be the same more or less to have and to hold the said improvement and tract of land described and mentioned unto the said Daniel Robins his heirs and assigns forever.
