  Samuel B Smith was born at Smithfield, Monroe county, Pa., in 1835,
and married Mary, daughter of William Jayne.  The children are:  Charles
W., born in 1858, who married Jennie Kisbaugh in 1879; George W., born in
1859; Hattie E., 1863; Adrian Grant, 1867; Walker L., 1870; Emma D., 1872.
