OBITUARY:
Hazleton Newspaper, Oct. 22, 1935

Mrs. Cornelius Bachman, aged 82 years, died at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Conrad Karn, 936 West Fourth street at 9:25 o'clock last evening,
following a week's illness. She was a former resident of Sugarloaf and was
preceded in death by her husband seven years ago. She was a member of Christ
Reformed church, Conyngham. The following children survive: Christian,
of Jerome, Ohio; William, of Eckley; Mrs. Joseph Kishbaugh, of Allentown;
Mrs. Conrad Karn, of this city, and Harry and Charles, of Sugarloaf. Ten
grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services
will be conducted privately Thursday afternoon from the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Conrad Karn, 936 West Fourth street, and interment will be made in
Union cemetery at Conyngham.
