K., ALFRED KELLER ROBBINS. Born 1843 Mercer County, Penn. Came to Iowa with parents John and Elizabeth Bronston Robbins. Lived in Linn County, Iowa near Cedar Rapids. Was in the 9th. Iowa Infantry during civil war. Have one affidavit about him submitting request for pension from US War Department in 1906. But was turned down and had no further information or paper work on him. Discharge states his name as Alfred K. Robbins. Maybe Alford too. Enlistment has Aham Robbins. Any suggestions? Looked extensively here in Iowa cemeteries and no luck. Last address was Washington, Iowa. Aham is documented as enlisted as you stated, but I doubt that he was ever discharged. Do you have any record of Aham being alive after 1864? I forgot to add some attachments about the regimental history of the 222 and the battle in Dallas, Ga. to my last e-mail and they will follow shortly.
