I am from Susquehanna Pa originally and doing some genealogy on my family
and found that my great grandmother was Philena Lake who married a Edward
Brown, I am not sure how many children they had but my grandmother was
one of their children her name was Nellie Amanda Brown.  She was b.
5/5/1884 so I am assuming that Philena was born somewhere in the late
1850's or early 60's.  My grandmother was born in Melrose Pa.  If you
have any info on this Lake family PLEASE e mail me.
