Bob Robins Silver Spring, MD ME - Do you know Daniel Robins (Scotland 1627-1714) is in your direct line from Y-DNA? What else do you know about Aaron ROBINS (Sunbury, PA 1784-1842)? Do you know who he married? Finding the paper trail back is the challenge now. Aaron married Rebecca Richardson (1786-1867) in Sunbury, PA in 1803 an I have her family traced back several generations further. My best options for Aaron's father seem to be two brothers (William and Zachariah, and a sister Marabe - from William's 1780 will) who were in Northumberland County in the early 1770s. William's will mentions an unnamed child born in May 1780 to Mary Everhart, and some have taken this to be Aaron, but I am currently using a 1784 birth for Aaron based on the Find a grave record. Aaron does include property in his will that had William Robins/Robbins as the original warrantee however so the Find a grave data may be incorrect. Aaron is not mentioned in Zachariah's 1809 will and Zachariah's son Gilbert only mentions Aaron in his 1815 will as the owner of an adjoining plot in Sunbury. A search of courthouse and other local records this summer will hopefully provide some clarity. Bob Robins Silver Spring, MD
