The Daily Journal, Vineland NJ Friday, October 8, 2010 FRANCIS W. ROBBINS, 90 Supervisor, quality control manager Francis W. Robbins, 90, of Vineland passed away peacefully on Friday evening, Oct. 1, 2010, at the South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Vineland. The husband of Miranda J. Robbins (Wulderk), he was born in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Frank Robbins and the late Stella Robbins (Popuwich). Mr. Robbins lived on Silver Run Road in Millville before moving to Carson City, Nev., for 13 years. Later he moved back to New Jersey and settled in Vineland. Mr. Robbins worked as a supervisor and quality control manager at Kimble Glass in Vineland and continued working during and after the transition to Owens Illinois Glass Company. Mr. Robbins loved to be at home and spend time caring for his home. He always kept his property beautiful and especially enjoyed gardening. He enjoyed traveling and loved to play poker. He also enjoyed building and remodeling homes. In addition to his wife of 68 years, he is survived by two sons, Byron W. Robbins and his wife Fern of Millville, and Ronald F. Robbins and his wife Jo Ann of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marion Mainiero of Millville. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 4 p.m. Monday at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton, with the Rev. Linwood Sharp of the Rosenhayn United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation and inurnment took place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township. Friends will be received between 3 and 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
