There are some interesting pieces of information re Lake and Risley that are connected to Parrs, but I have not looked for parents of these allied members of the Parr family or links to the NJ or NY Lakes: Charles Parr b. 1867 m. Ann Risley b. ca ? 1860 in Steamboat Springs ,Colorado. Charles was descendant of Jacob Parr b. 1788 and Lucinda Webb b. 1795. Charles was grgrandsonn of Jacob and Lucinda thru their son William Parr m. Ellen Johnson whose son John Curtin Parr and Eliza Jane Clark were parents of Charles. Lucinda Parr b. 1822 in TN m. David Newcomer. This Lucinda was dau of above Jacob and Lucinda Webb Parr and sister of William Parr m. Ellen Johnson. Note: Miles L. Gabbeart b. 1859 was son of William Gabbeart and Lucinda Parr on page 193 of Risley/Adams. Next I have a Martha Lake b. 1808 m. a Jesse Rose b. 1804 to James Rose m. Sarah Norris son of David Rose and Hannah Parr. Hannah was a daughter of my grgrgrgrgrgrgrandparents John Parr, Sr. and Mary Corwin m. Morris Co., NJ 1719. I have no idea who this Martha Lake was as of yet, but she was in Hancock, OH. I don't know if she was born there or in NJ or somewhere in between. Nancy
