I'd suspect this family was originally from Newport, RI as Joseph and John
Lake married sisters Penelope and Susanna Case, daughters of Anna (Chamberlin)
Case, wife of James Case. Many of Anna Chamberlin's siblings moved to Monmouth
Co, NJ, so I'd suspect your search might be this line. I'm working on this
