Lake who's son was James Lake who married Elizabeth Marie Lake (nee) Cannegieter They had 9 children Catherine Lucille Sarah Moses James Alexander Peter Elizabeth Azalia I am now researching thier children and grand children Elizabeth Lake married Daniel Alfred Blake and my grandmother was one of thier children. Yes it's in the caribbean and the freed slaves actualy came over from holland france and other islands near by Anguilla st. kitts st. bats it's a long line in my family there were 15 freed slaves in the family when they came to the island now the family is huge and spread out over the world
