LAKE, MR. ADAM JOHN Hastings Adam John Lake, age 16, died Tuesday October
30, 2001 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident
near Hastings. He was born on February 24, 1985 to Daniel A. and Susan V.
(Holtrop) Lake and was a junior at Hastings High School. Adam participated
in High School Baseball/Freshman & Junior Varsity and enjoyed fishing,
hunting, snowmobiling, snowboarding, & skiing. He is survived by
his parents, Susan & Daniel Lake of Hastings; brother, Randy Lake of
Hastings; paternal grandparents, Mildred & Richard Lake of Nokomis,
FL; maternal grandmother, Ethel Holtrop of Muskegon; uncles William
Holtrop of Muskegon and David Lake of St. James City, FL; aunt & uncle
Pam & Dennis Wright of W.  Olive, MI. He was preceded in death by his
grandfather, John Holtrop.  Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday,
Nov. 2, 2001 at the Hastings First Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel
L. Currie officiating. Burial will be at Mona View Cemetery in Muskegon
Heights. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adam John Lake Memorial
