Published in The Daily Item on 9/11/2008 Sunbury PA DEWART - Alberta I. Robbins, 88, of 2176 Main St., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at her daughter's home in Dewart. She was born July 2, 1920, in Muncy, a daughter of the late Norman and Susan (Bartlett) Millheim. On May 19, 1940, she married Woodrow W. Robbins, Sr. They were married 50 years until his death on April 10, 1991. Alberta attended the former Montgomery-Clinton High School. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Dewart, where she had been a member of the former Homeworker's Class. Alberta enjoyed working with ceramics in her spare time, but her first priority was to her family and grandchildren. She also performed volunteer work for the American Cancer Society. Surviving are five children, Darlene J. Troxell of Dewart, Carole J. Craig and husband, Robert, of Danville, Woodrow W. Robbins, Jr., and wife, Audrey, of Dewart, Linda D. Losch of Montoursville, and Robert M. Robbins and wife, Sonya, of Watsontown; three sisters and brother-in-law, Eldora F. and James Miller of Montgomery, Arlene L. Bartlow of Muncy, and Jeannette M. Kreppenneck of Milton; one sister-in-law, Cora Millheim of Muncy; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by one son, John A. Robbins who died in 1966; three brothers, Bernard L., Robert O. and Norman W. Millheim, Jr.; and two grandchildren, Anthony West and Kelly Steinbacher. Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. John's United Methodist Church, River Road and Methodist Lane, Dewart, where the funeral will be held at noon officiated by her minister, Pastor John E. Lee. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church Cemetery, Montgomery. The family welcomes flowers, however, if desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 82, West Milton, PA 17886. Grenoble Funeral Home, 121 S.
