Alice A. Strickler, 76
North Ridgeville- Alice A. Strickler (LAKE), 76, of North Ridgeville,
died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at her home following a four-month illness
with cancer.

She was born July 8, 1923, in Edenville, MI., and moved to North
Ridgeville from Elyria in 1950.

Mrs. Strickler enjoyed crocheting, embroidery and travel.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Vernon; and a daughter Brenda
Strickler, of Brooklyn, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her sister,
Gertrude Jacobs, in 1985; an infant daughter Diane in 1950; and her
parents, Walter and nettle Lake.

Friends may call Monday 4 to 8 p.m. at the Garland- Misencik Funeral Home,
851 Park Ave. Amherst, where services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. The Rev.
James Greenawalt, pastor of South Amherst First Untied Methodist Church,
will officiate. Burial will be in Kendeigh Corners Cemetery, Amherst
Township.
