Wichita Falls Times Record News; Wichita Falls, TX; 1999-4-21 Alma Lake SEYMOUR, Texas - Alma Lake, 94, died Monday, April 19, 1999, in a Seymour nursing home. Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Riverview Cemetery with Dr. Edward C. Hart officiating. Services are under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Lake was born April 29, 1904, in Glenville, N.Y. She and William Lake were married in 1924 in Schenectady, N.Y. He died July 1967. She was a homemaker and had worked for General Electric. She had worked for a clothing store in Schenectady and later moved to Englewood, Fla., where she was involved as a Bible Club leader. She moved to Seymour in 1979 and attended the First Presbyterian Church. Her son, Richard, died in 1958 and her daughter, Shirley, in 1987. Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Hart of Seymour; a son, David of Lutz, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Westview Care Center in Seymour.
