Anna Lee Matheny

SHINNSTON — Anna Lee Matheny, 88, of Pine Bluff, went home to the Lord
on May 26, 2015.

She was born on August 20, 1926, in Chemical, WV, and was the daughter of
Henry and Tessie Queen Lake.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Walter Matheny, on September 2002; four brothers, Larry, Robert, Richard,
Eddie Ray Lake; and her stepmother, Angie Ogden Lake.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Terry) Wyke of Pine Bluff; her son,
Terry (Sharon) Matheny of Florence, SC; her sister, Mary Alice McIntire of
Morgantown; her granddaughter, Shannan (Eric) Hines of Prospect Valley; her
great-grandson, Michael Hines of Prospect Valley; her stepgrandson, Bobby
McClatchey of Florence, SC; her stepgreat-grandson, Bobby Lee McClatchey
III of Florence, SC; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (GG). She
was a member of the Pine Bluff CEOS, the Pythian Sisters, the Rebekah
Lodge, the Ladies of Oriental Shrine, the Order of the Eastern Star and
the Shinnston Historical Association.

Family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike
St., Shinnston, on Thursday, May 28, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The
funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. with
Reverend Harry Holbert officiating. Interment will follow in Enterprise
I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
