Hagerstown Morning Herald (MD) October 6, 2002 Hagerstown MD Inwood, W.Va. - Anna May Weaver, 95, of Inwood, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, at the home of her daughter. Born Sept. 18, 1907, in Delaware County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Blanche E. Candelet Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward Weaver. She attended Inwood Baptist Church. She also was a member of Mayfair Conwell Memorial Baptist Church in Philadelphia where she was a deaconess, choir member and attendance secretary. She was a member of Eastern Star of Philadelphia. She is survived by a daughter, Bette A. Shephard of Inwood; four grandchildren, Kenneth R. Shephard of Inwood, Nancy L. Kepler of New Cumberland, Pa., and Daniel L. Weaver and Thomas L. Weaver, both of New Jersey; and six great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by a son, Richard E. Weaver, and seven sisters and brothers. Services were Monday, Sept. 30, at 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel in Southampton Township, Pa. Pastor Jim Holt officiated. She was well-known for knitting. She is survived by one daughter, Bette Anne Shephard of Inwood; daughter-in-law, Linda Weaver of New Jersey; four grandchldren, Kenneth R. Shephard of Inwood, Nancy L. Kepler of New Cumberland, P.A., Daniel L. and Thomas L. Weaver of New Jersey; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward Weaver; one son, Richard Edward Weaver; and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held Monday Sept. 30, 2002 at 1p.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel in Southampton Township, P.A. with paster Jim Holt officiating.
