Born in Cheverie, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Palmer) Lake. She is survived by sons, Ernest (Ferne), Coleman, P.E.I.; Andrew, Beaver Bank; daughter, Margaret (Ron) Leonard, Comox, B.C.; a niece raised as her own, Joyce (James) Campbell, Riverview, N.B.; grandchildren, David and Dwayne Harvie, Dianna Zwicker, Steven, Michael and Glen Bond; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Jean Smith, Myrtle Anthony and Nellie Brown; half-brother, Clifford Palmer. Visitation from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, April 15, in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King St., Windsor, where funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, Alex Mosher will officiate, assisted by Rev. Garnet Parker. Burial will follow in Avonview Cemetery, Kempt Shore, Hants Co. Donations in memory may be made to Dykeland Lodge or charity of choice.
