Ardis K. McKown, 77, of Prescott Valley, AZ., passed away Dec. 8, 2003
and was born Dec. 1, 1926 in Cleveland, OH. She moved to Glendale,
AZ. in 1948.  Survived by her husband of 33 years, Richard J. McKown;
son, John E. Lake; daughters, Connie Buce and Denise McQuiston; grandsons,
David, Gary, and Greg Buce, Jason and Jeff Lake, Shawn and Travis Wilky;
5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Willard & Dora
Krauss. Also survived by brothers William, Willard, and Robert Nelson
Krauss, sister Jane McCutcheon. She was a great seamstress and made
beautiful quilts and crafts.  Memorial Service Friday, Dec. 12th, 2 PM,
Best Funeral Home, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria. Contributions Hospice
of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
