Published in Journal-News on May 21, 2014 Hamilton, OH GENTRY, Austina (Lake) age 67, of Middletown, OH, passed away on May 16, 2014. She was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1946, in Beattyville, KY. She was a master of all traits and she devoted her life to being a wonderful wife, mother and friend. Austina is survived in life by her husband of 44 years, John Gentry; son John Gentry Jr. (Monica) Gentry, son James Gentry, daughter Ginger Gentry; grandchildren Morgan Gentry, Joslynn Mcdonaldson, Miles Gentry and Rose Gentry; two sisters Wanda (John) Kiefer, Martha (Roy) McDaniel; and lifelong best friends Sue Moore, Debby Hines, and Chong Sin. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Opal Lake; and two sisters Sonya Hawn and Nancy (Bill) Clay. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Hospice of Dayton staff, Surecare Medical Center, Pulmonary and Critical Care Consultants, and the Pulmonary unit at MVH for their love, devotion and exceedingly excellent care. It truly was a blessing to her to have each of you in her life. No formal arrangements will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Gentry's residence on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2 p.m.
