EPPLER, Authorine (LAKIN)

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m.  Friday, Sept. 14, 2001, in Covenant
Presbyterian Church in Gresham for Authorine Eppler, who died Sept. 11,
at age 83.

Mrs. Eppler was born Authorine Lakin on March 26, 1918, in Valley Center,
Kan.  She moved in about 1977 to Portland.  A secretary in Kansas and in
Portland, she retired in about 1980.  In about 1939, she married Donald
Eppler; he died in 1998.

Survivors include her sons, Larry, Michael, and Tom; daughter, Marsha
Ehlers; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
