Marie (Justis) Robbins, 86, of Millville, passed away Saturday morning, March 1, 2008, at the Rainbow Rehabilitation Center in Pittsgrove Township after an extended illness. Born and raised in Hopkins, Va., she had been a Millville resident for 67 years. Mrs. Robbins and her late husband, John, owned and operated Robbin's Market at 5th and Broad Streets in Millville for 37 years until she retired in 1972. She then worked in the cafeteria at Memorial Junior High School in Millville for 10 years. She attended the Second United Methodist Church in Millville, and was a member of the Shekinah Chapter No. 82 Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed her dogs, reading and working with embroidery. She was predeceased by her husband, John O. Robbins, in 1995; two brothers George and Roger Justis; and one sister, Margaret Saunders. Mrs. Robbins is survived by two sons, Robert K. Robbins of Millville, and John L. Robbins and Rosanne of Hartford, Conn.; three daughters, Shirley Taylor and Sherman of Millville, Joan Ritchie and Dale of Leonardtown, Md., and Cindy Spinnato of Millville; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville. Family and friends will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
