Loudoun Times-Mirror Wednesday, December 30, 1998 Barbara Baker Barbara A. Baker, 68, of Thurmont, Md., formerly of Lovettsville and Brunswick, Md., died Dec. 23 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Md. She was born June 28, 1930, in Charles Town, W.Va., a daughter of the late Carl and Mabel Taylor Green Lake. After her marriage she made her residence in Lovettsville until 1983 when she moved to Brunswick, Md., where she was a member of the Women of the Moose. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses congrega- tion in Frederick, Md. She was the wife of the late James Addison Baker Sr., and is survived by her seven children, Rebekah J. Stansberry of Walkersville, Md., Sharon Lee Foote of Leesburg, James A. Baker Jr. of Hagerstown, Md., Dwight D. Baker of Brunswick, Md., Daniel Lynn Baker of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., Esther Marie Baker of Brunswick, Md., and Melissa Michelle Lee of Frederick, Md.; a brother, Melvin Taylor of Brunswick, Md.; 15 grand- children; and seven great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a son, the late Kevin Joel Baker and two daughters, the late Linda Darlene Wilsona and the late Susan Elaine Baker Barreto. A funeral was Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Lovettsville with Jerry Myers officiating. Interment was pri- vate. Arrangements were by Loudoun Funeral Chapels.
