Barbara K. Beck, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, July 5,
2012 in Blough Health Care Center. Born: in Durham, NC, she was a
daughter of the late Caleb S. and Marion W. Kenney. Personal: James
A. Beck, her husband, passed away in 1998. Barbara worked as a social
worker for Sayre Child Center and Lehigh Valley Child Care before
retiring. Barbara was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and loved
reading and all creatures great and small. She was a devoted mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother. Memberships: She was a member
of Trinity Episcopal Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: daughters, Tracy
W. and Christopher Beck-Briggs of Bethlehem and Colby T. and James
McCarthy of Easton; a son, Lawrence C. and Deborah Beck of Holland,
Bucks County; step-son, James M. and Linda Beck of Alexandria, VA;
step-daughter, Katherine Hokenson of McLean, VA; ten grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at
Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 E. Market Street, Bethlehem. Friends will
be received from 1:30 until service time. Burial will be private with
the family. Arrangements are with the Snyder-Hinkle & Lunsford Funeral
