Times Herald-Record Middletown, NY 26 Nov 2010 October 11, 1920 - November 21, 2010 Juno Beach, FL Formerly of Stony Point & New Hampton, NY Barbara Linabury Leo, age 90, died Sunday, November 21, 2010, in Juno Beach, FL. Barbara was born October 22, 1920 in Mt. Vernon, and grew up in Bronxville. She was the daughter of Lester H. and Helen L. Linabury. Barbara spent most of her adult life in Stony Point and New Hampton, which is in the Hudson Valley Region of the State of New York, as a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She became a resident of the state of Florida in 1984, where she resided in Suni Sands and the Jupiter River Park in Jupiter, and in 2001 she moved to The Waterford in Juno Beach, FL. She most enjoyed family and friends, and on occasion the game of golf. She was a member of the local Daughters of the American Revolution, a former member of the Jupiter River Park Beautification Committee, former member of the Waterford Welcoming Committee, and a member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church. Predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Leo Jr., brother, Howard D. Linabury and sister, Catherine S. Leo, she is survived by her four sons: Charles R. Leo III and wife, Grace of South Miami, FL, William D. Leo and wife, Diane of Florida, NY & Jupiter, FL, James B. Leo and wife, Leslie of Highland Falls, and Thomas F. Leo and wife, Barbara of Delhi, NY; daughter, Barbara Sue Deal of Vienna, VA; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, November 29, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 S. Church St., Goshen, with the Funeral Service in the funeral home at 12 noon. Burial will be in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, Danbury, CT, on Monday, November 29, at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul of The Cross Church, 10970 Highway AIA, North Palm Beach, FL 33408; Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407, or Goshen Historic Track, 44 Park Pl., Goshen, NY 10924.
