Conradi Jan. 9, 1946 - May 19, 2015 Barbara Sue Conradi of Longview was born Jan. 9, 1946, in Winters, Calif., to Pierce and Effie (Jones) Lakey and passed away May 19, 2015, at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Al and Junior Lakey; and a daughter, Tessa Conradi. Barbara is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Conradi; two daughters, Amy Conradi and Connie Olsen; two sons, Jed Conradi and Scott Conradi; three grandchildren, Rylee and Trevor Zimmerman and Caleb Conradi; and three sisters, Elsa Byrd, Mary Yates and Gladys Chaney. Barbara was a devoted and loving wife, mother, friend, sister, aunt and grandmother who greeted others with an infectious smile that lit up the room. She was generous, willing to help those in need and always gave unconditionally. She was dedicated to her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for more than 55 years. In addition to her love and generosity for family and friends, Barbara loved animals, particularly birds and dogs. She loved scrapbooking with Stampin' Up, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She was well-known for her hospitality. Barbara had a brilliant intellectual mind and spent many years as a paralegal and as a nurse's assistant. Above all, she excelled at being a mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 306 Peardale Lane in Longview. Final arrangements are by Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
