The Chronicle-Herald, Volume 58, Number 135 {Issue number confirmed} Wednesday June 7, 2006 Halifax NS Canada McLELLAN (Lake), Bertha Elizabeth - 91, Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, formerly of Bramber, passed away Monday, June 5, 2006, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Bramber, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Rolfe) Lake. Bert, as she was known, was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She enjoyed feeding the birds and any animals that came to her place. Bert would always lend a helping hand and enjoyed looking after others in the community. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Eleanor (Laurie), Kitimat, B.C., and Reta (Randy), Bramber; son, Norman, Cambridge, Hants Co.; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; sister, Myra Crossley, Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert; sisters, Alva Crossley, Edna Smith, Maude Lake, Theresa Lake, Minnie McLellan, and Leona Lake; brothers, Jim, Pleman, Wallace. Visitation 2-4 p.m. today in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville. A graveside committal service will be held this evening at 7 p.m. in Bramber Cemetery, Bramber (open to all), Rev.
