Hartford Courant; Hartford CT; 2000-3-10 LAKE, Bertha "Betty" (Joslyn) WALLINGFORD AND NEW HAVEN LAKE, Bertha "Betty" (Joslyn) Bertha "Betty" (Joslyn) Lake, 95, widow of William Edmund Lake, died Monday, (March 6, 2000) at the Masonic Home and Hospital, Wallingford. Born in New Haven, January 11, 1905, she lived in the New Haven area, primarily in Orange. She was an executive secretary for several organizations, including the Yale Center for Alcohol Studies and the New England Association of Independent Schools. Beloved by her family, she is survived by her daughter, Diane Lake Northrop of Glastonbury; her two grandchildren, Melanie Northrop Forman and Dr. Daniel E. Forman of Wellesley, MA, and Dana R. Northrop and Kristen Northrop of Camillus. NY; her six great-grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, and Rebecca Forman and E.J., Will, and John Northrop; her sister, Ethel Warmingham of Madison; her nieces, Betty Lou Morawski of Madison and Nancy R. Doheny of Orange; and other cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at a time and place to be announced in the future. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation, P.O.
