Bertha Richardson Lake

Bertha Richardson Lake, 80, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28,
2000 at her residence.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today (and Thursday.)at
Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Services will be 1 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Bill Thompson
officiating.  Internment will follow at Oakwood Cemetary.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Lake, Chris Gowan, Alvin Richardson,
J. C. Sandefer, Paul Richardson and Jimmy Wilson.

Mrs. Lake was born May 31, 1920.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Wyatt Lake; sister, Dymple
Sandefer; brother, Vernon Richardson; and son-in-law, Bob Carroll.

Mrs. Lake is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Debbie
Lake of Corsicana; daughter, Karolyn Carroll of Corsicana; grandchildren,
Tammy Gowan and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Krista Gowan and
Tyler Lake; sisters, Sybil Sims and Virginia Wilson, both of Clute, Loree
Dagley of Pearland and Katie Farmer of Corsicana; and sister-in-law,
Clyde French of Corsicana.
