Berwyn E Lake, 79 of Elizabeth died Sudany, Nov. 25, 2001, in Jefferson
Hospital.  Co-owner of J&L TV in Elizabeth, he was a U.S. Army  veteran
of World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Born Nov. 8, 1922, in Hopewood, he was a son of the late Charles and
Mollie Sumey Lake and the husband of the late Shirley Ann Joll Lake.
He is survived by daughters, Patricia Davis of Streetsboro, Ohio, and
Caterine Lake of San Francisco, Calif.; son, Harry L. Lake of Liberty;
four grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Emerson of Port Richey, Fla.,
and Betty Brown of Cape Coral, Fla.; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the
Paul E.  Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.  Service will be offered in the
chapel there Wednesday at noon by the Rev. Thomas Carr.  Interment will
be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.  The family has suggested
memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Western Pennsylvania,
