BETTY ANN LAKE A resident of San Leandro passed away April 20, 2004
at the age of 84. She was born in Independence, Missouri. Betty leaves
behind her loving husband Lyle Lake Sr. of 59 years. She also has two
children Barbara Lake of Turlock and son Lyle Lake Jr. and his wife Liz
of Livermore. Betty loved her grandchildren: Hayme Lake and wife, Majken,
Jason Lake and wife, Angela, Nathan Hawkins, and Natalie Hawkins. Also
three great grandchildren: Marley Rae Lake, Mateo Lake, and Leilani Jae
Lake. Betty and her husband were avid swimmers at the Boys and Girls
Club. She was known for her sugar cookies and Christmas candy. There will
be a Vigil service for Betty, Thursday, April 22, 2004 at the mortuary
beginning at 7:30 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be Friday April 23, 2004
at St. Leander Parish, 550 W. Estudillo Ave. beginning at 10:30 A.M.
Burial following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward. Visitation will
be Thursday from noon to 8:30 P.M. Donations preferred to Children's
