Idaho State Journal Pocatello ID Betty E. Lake 04/08/02 POCATELLO - Betty E. Lake, 73, of Pocatello, died Friday evening, April 5, 2002 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. She was born March 16, 1929, to William M. and Victoria Walker Garoutte. She graduated from Billings Senior High School, Billings, Mont. Betty Married Willard 'Bill' Lake, July 2, 1957, at Billings. She worked for many years as a medical and surgical ward clerk for St. Anthony Hospital in Pocatello. She enjoyed spending time with her family which included her two Pekingese dogs. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pocatello. She is survived by her husband, Bill; two daughters, Barbara V. (L. Lynn) Miller of Las Cruces, N.M., and Vicki (Mike) Jacobsen of Bothell, Wash.; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Louise (Harold) Warner of Billings, Mont. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, 200 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, with Rev. H. Lee Baker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the church. Memorial may be made in Betty's memory to the First United Methodist Church, 200 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, Idaho 83201. Arrangements are under the direction of the Henderson-Cornelison Funeral Home 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello.
