LAKE, Betty, 85, of Phoenix, AZ passed away July 29, 2011. She is
survived by her husband of 64 years, Waldo "Walt" Lake; children: Steve
(Diane), Ken (Carol), Dave (Jennifer) Lake, and Susan (Howard) Abee and
four grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be truly
missed. Betty and Walt moved to Arizona in 1957 and worked along side
one another running Pete's Auto Trim in Phoenix until they retired in
1989. Retirement lead them to Sun Lakes where Betty was an active member
of Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, not to mention the secretary for
five years.  Private services have been scheduled. The family requests,
in lieu of flowers, to please make any donations to Hospice of the Valley,
Sherman Home.
