Published in The Telegraph on January 25, 2011 Macon GA Billie Jean H. Lake -DUBLIN -Services for Billie Jean H. Lake, of Dublin will be held at 2P.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jack Key and Rev. Tommy Veal will officiate. -Mrs. Lake was born February 9, 1935 to the late Newbern Holton and the late Callie Lumley Holton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dublin. She was active in her church and the community. She partnered with her husband as owners of Lake's Alignment in East Dublin for 55 years. She passed away on January 24, 2011 at Serenity Place. -She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. "Elp" Lake of Dublin; daughter, Leesa (Peter Fred) Larsen of Dublin; two sons, Timothy A. "Tim" (Laurie) Lake and Mark E. (Kathy) Lake both of Dublin; sister, Betty Sue (James) Mason of Warner Robins; two brothers, Tommy J. (Jackie) Holton of Sandersville and Teddy (Gail) Holton of Soperton; grandchildren, Timothy and Aubrey Lake, Tyler Brown and Peter Larsen; and numerous other relatives. -Pallbearers will be Donnie Cammack, Bob Johnson, Josh Cammack, Jason Page, Derek Phillips, Josh Raley and David Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Purvis, Jerry Calhoun, Ted Calhoun and Lewis Thomas. -The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
