Blondell Lake Williams          
Blondell Lake Williams -MACON - Blondell Lake Williams, 74 years old,
went home to be with her Lord on December 11, 2006. Mrs. Williams was
a homemaker who loved and took such pride in her home and made it a
wonderful place for her children to grow up. She wasn't just a mother -
"Mama" was the light of her family and her family the light of her
life. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed. Our
only comfort is to know that she now rests peacefully in the arms of her
Heavenly Father and has been reunited with her Mother (Juanita Lake), her
beloved Father (Carl Lake) and her brothers (Taft Lake and William Lake)
which preceded her in death. -Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband
of 54 years G.V. Williams, Jr.; three children, Van Williams (Linda),
Gary Williams, and Debbie Williams Smith (Jeff); three grandchildren,
Chris Williams (Ami), Keith Coppock (Kelli), Wendy Arnold (Robert); four
great-grandchildren, Dillon Coppock, Tanner Coppock, Hunter Bass, and
Nicolas Arnold. She also leaves behind a wonderful friend and caregiver
Janane Pilcher; and a devoted niece and caregiver Eileen Lake. Rest easy
Mama. Thank you for teaching us the greatest gift is love and that it
never fails. -The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.  Thursday
at Hart's Mortuary. -Funeral services are scheduled for 2P.M. Friday,
December 15, 2006 at Antioch Baptist Church, 7507 Old Gordon Road with the
Reverend Dwayne Outlaw officiating. Interment will follow in the church
cemetery.  -Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements. Blondell Williams

Baptist Church, 7507 Old Gordon Road with the Reverend Dwayne Outlaw
officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. -Hart's
