Published in the Lincoln Journal Star on 3/11/2009 Lincoln NE SEABERG, CARIE RUTH 92, passed away Thursday (3/5/09) in Everett, Wash. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho and raised mostly in the Galva, Kan. Area. Her parents were W. Rexford Bunnell and Wilda B. Lake. Her only sibling, Dorothy Johnson, preceded her in death many years ago. Carie was a life-time homemaker at which she excelled in all aspects. She was renowned for her cooking; she tailored most of her own clothes; she was an excellent knitter, making very complicated patterns; she was a skilled ceramics painter; and she was a skilled quilter. At one time she was a member of the Eastern Star. Carie was preceded in death in 2007 by her husband of 71 years, Roland. She is survived by two sons, Robert Michael and James; two granddaughters, Heidi Cramer (Robert) and Lisa Baird (Peter); and three great grandchildren, Spencer, Chelsea, and Chancellor. Services: Carie was a 56 year member of Southview Christian Church. Memorial service plans ARe pending.
