McKeesport Daily News, McKeesport PA, Thursday April 5, 2001 page 25 Carl C. Lake of White Oak died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. A retired lieutenant from the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office with 30 years of service, he was a former construction company owner, member of St. Angela Merici Parish and Lions Club, both in White Oak, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in McKeesport and Fraternal Order of Police. Appointed by the governor as a justice of the peace, he was the democratic chairmen of White Oak, head of security and a counselor at the Holiday Camplands in Andover, Ohio, and an honorary deputy sheriff in Ashtabula County, Ohio. Born in Philippi, W.VA., he was the son of the late Clay and Ethel Willott Lake and the husband of the late Anne Lake. He is survived by daughter, Carol Anne Lake with whom he resided. Friends will be received in the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home, Inc., McKeesport, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Angela Merici Church by the Very Rev. Stephen M. Chervenak. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
