Carly Elizabeth Lake, Raymore, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 12,
2005 of natural causes. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00
a.m., Saturday, January 15 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial at
Mount Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Contributions may be made to
Birthright International, 6309 Walnut, Kansas City, MO 64113. Carly was
born on October 23, 2004 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Jeannine
and Daniel Lake. Carly was a beautiful, happy baby girl. She had her
daddy's smile and her mommy's spirit. Carly loved having play time with
her mommy and her big brother, Aidan James. She enjoyed nap time with
mommy, and she will forever cherish the bond that they have. Carly liked
listening to music, especially when she would be lovingly serenaded by
her daddy. Although we know that Carly's time with us was far too short,
we are blessed to have had her love in our lives. Carly is survived
by her mother, Jeannine, her father, Daniel, and her brother, Aidan
James, of!  Raymore. Carly is survived by her maternal grandparents,
Diane Cunningham and husband, Thomas, of Garnerville, NY, and John Aherne
and Maureen Collins of Chester, NY. She is also survived by her paternal
grandmother, Kathleen Lake, of Kansas City. Carly has an aunt, Susanne
Lake, of Kansas City; another aunt and uncle, Christy and Sean Aherne and
cousin, Conner Aherne, of Montvale, NJ. Carly's other uncle, John Aherne
is of Nyack, NY. Carly comes from a large Irish German catholic family
and we know how special she was in the hearts of each and every one of
them. We know in our hearts that Carly is in heaven. It gives us peace to
know that she is with her Grandpa Charlie, cradled in his loving arms,
watching over us as our special Guardian Angel from above. We love you,
