Carolyn LAKE (1925 - 2013)

LAKE, Carolyn H. "Nonnie" (nee Hawk) beloved wife of 67 years of James
"Poppy" Lake. Loving mother of Christine Marcum, Larry (Doylanna), Ronald
(Cheryl) and Randy (Jennifer) Lake. Devoted grandmother of Valarie
(Jake), Kelly, Amberlea, James and Logan. Passed away peacefully
March 27, 2013. Age 88 years. Carolyn was a homemaker, a member
of Daughters of American Revolution and graduated suma cum laude in
1946 from The Ohio State University. She was the vice president of the
Southwest School District in the 1960's. She was a substitite teacher for
S.W. School District and was also a 4-H leader for many years. Visitation
Monday from 11 A.M. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at the
Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd., Harrison. Burial will be
private. Donation may be made to the Miami Whitewater United Methodist
