Saginaw MI Lake, Charles Arthur Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007, at his home, age 78 years. The son of the late Pearl (Hansen) and Cal Lake Sr. was born August 5, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Eleanor Baillie, September 6, 1952. She survives him. He served with the U. S. Army during WWII and the Korean War. He graduated from Saginaw Valley State College in 1972 and owned and operated Lake's Bay Hardware for many years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Kochville United Methodist Church. He was a Black Powder gun artist. Surviving besides his wife are five children and their spouses, Ellen Ann Lake; William T. Lake; James and Deborah Lake, all of Saginaw, MI; Jon and Lee Lake, Spokane, WA; Matthew Lake, Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren, James F. Lake, Alexander D. Lake, Charles Watt, all of Saginaw, MI; Heather Eisenlord, Brooklyn, NY; Kayla and Hailie Lake, Spokane, WA; and Jeffrey Lake, Florida. His brother, Dr. Jerome and Claudette Lake, Maryland; several nieces, nephews and his special friend, Aaron Whitmore. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p. m.
