Charles William Lake Sr., Piedmont

Charles William Lake Sr., of 179 Oakvale Drive, died Oct. 26, 2000, at
Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Newberry County, he was a son of the late George and Carrie Ann Long
Lake. Retired:  Old Dominion Trucking Co. Veteran: U.S. Army.

Survivors: a daughter, Debra Ann Kirsey of New Jersey; a son, Charles W.
Lake Jr. of Greenville; a stepson, Ray Neal of Greenville; a sister,
Margaree Burdine of Mauldin; brothers, Raymond Lake of Bronx, N.Y., Henry
Earl Lake and Forest Lake of Piedmont; and 11 grandchildren.

Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church. Burial: Resthaven
