Graveside services 10am Thursday, May 19, 2005, White Chapel Memorial
Gardens. Chester loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death
by daughter, Velvola McGowan; brother, Glen; sisters, May Tice and
Luetta Lake. Survivors: wife, Helen, Clinton, OK; sons, Richard,
Marion, Ronnie, Sedgwick; sisters, Edith Gross, Wichita, Mabel Lumon,
Moore, OK; brothers, Lee, Newkirk, OK, Roy, Parsons; 4 grandchildren;
9 great-grandchildren. Services with Culbertson-Smith Mortuary.

Chester Lake
Chester R. Lake, 92, of Clinton, Okla., died May 15, 2005.  He was
preceded in death by a daughter, Velvola McGowan; a brother, Glen; and
two sisters, May Tice and Luetta Lake. Survivors include his wife, Helen
of Clinton, Okla.; two sons, Richard Lake of Marion and Ronnie Lake of
Sedgwick; two sisters, Edith Gross of Wichita and Mabel Lumon of Moore,
Okla.; two brothers, Lee Lake of Newkirk, Okla., and Roy Lake of Parsons;
four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services will
be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita.
