She had been a substitute teacher in Kempt Shore prior to her marriage, and then worked for Minas Basin Vegetable Packing, the Berwick Fruit Company, the Canning Factory, Waterville; Avon Foods, Port Williams; and the Berwick Bakery. She was a good mother and was kind hearted. Surviving are husband, Russell; son, Edward, Mississauga, Ont.; daughters, Rosie Reid, Waterville; Jeanie Lightfoot, Cambridge; Mary Lou Little, Waterville; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sister, Eulah Robar; grandson, Brian Chase; great-grandson, Tyson Reid. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday, both in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick.
