MILES CITY - Christine Marie Lake, 45, a homemaker, died of an
aortic embolism Sept. 3 at her home in Miles City. Cremation has
taken place under the direction of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in
Miles City. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Survivors
include a daughter, Kyla James of Albany, Ore.; a son, Leroy Langwell
of Pocatello, Idaho; her parents, George and Sonja Lake of Albany;
sisters Debra Buffington of Great Falls, Phyllis Lake of Bozeman and
Margret Lake of Azusa, Calif.; a brother, George Lake of Albany; and
one grandchild.Christine was born Jan. 13, 1960, in Los Angeles, and was
raised there. She attended high school in Los Angeles and Albany, Ore. She
worked various jobs during her life, and especially loved working in the
historic Olive Hotel in Miles City. She loved doing crafts of all kinds.
