Benton, Ky. -

    Services for Clara Hightower, 86, of Benton will be at 11 a.m. Saturday
at Collier Funeral Home.  The Rev. Alan Miller will officiate. Burial will
be in Marshall County Memory Gardens.
    Mrs. Hightower died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday at Marshall County Hospital
in Benton.  She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Benton.
    She is survived by two sisters, Treasie Robinson of Puryear, Tenn., and
Ernestine Venable of Stella;  eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren;
two nephews; and five nieces.
    She was preceded in death by her second husband, Ernie Hightower; her
first husband, Aron Leek;  her son, Eugene Leek; her daughter, Betty Leek
Spalding; one brother; and six sisters. Her parents were Alfred and Dora
Sledd Wright.
    Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
