Clarence F. Lake 

  Clarence F. Lake, age 92, of Elgin, passed away on Friday at the Vines,
Elgin. Born October 21, 1915 in Colby, WI the son of Henry and Edna
Laux Lake.
  Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Elgin, retired in 1977
from I.T.W.
  Survived by wife of 68 years, Mary; two daughters, Patricia (Thomas)
Prickett of Elgin, Carol (Thomas) Procter of St. Charles; two sons,
Richard (Myrna) Lake of Rockford and Gary (Patricia) Lake of Elgin;
grandchildren, Pamela (Steven) Medcalf, Thomas (Sara) Prickett, Michael
(Eileene) Lake, Daniel Lake, Cherie (Terry) Aschenbrenner, and Kevin
(Katie) Lake; great-grandchildren, James, John, Gregory and Ryan; two
brothers Harold and Wilbur Lake.
  Preceded in death by parents; three brothers; and three sisters.
  Funeral services Sunday 3:00 PM at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park,
Elgin. Burial will be private at Washington Cemetery, Elgin. Visitation
will be 1:00 to time of service at 3:00. Memorials may be made to Marklund
Charities, 290 Town Center, Glendale Heights or St. Paul's United Church
of Christ, Elgin,
